Ableton Live 10 Released

This. For Suite owners anyway. Seriously.... I could buy a PAIR of brand new 27" LED monitors for my desk for what they are asking for this upgrade...

Would you link to the monitors?
I could do with a new one and the cheapest 27" I can find is ~£140.

Yes this is totally subjective, but Subjectively: Not worth it for ME until ---> there is a more serious sale or there's enough Suite 10 licenses out there for me to work something over in the Buy&Sell Forum.

I love the Sonic Bloom themes also, and they work in 10 (there are a few wonky bits but some of that is leftover going from 8 to 9 where some border colors changed, etc.).

They're great aren't they? Awesome stuff.

I'm sure they gonna work on fresh new themes specifically designed for Live 10 in the near future.

What blows my mind is that you can buy a new 27" ips monitor for the equivalent of £96! (it's still under £115 when it's not on sale). That model doesn't seem to be available in the UK but the cheapest 27" HP I can find is £160.

I don't think the Live upgrade is all that expensive, you've just found a really cheap monitor!

Just out of curiosity, how much of that $359 is tax? I paid £30.50 in VAT, so the upgrade itself was £152.50... $266 Canandian.

I did cpu test with m4l Granulator II while use v10 beta, and found that cpu usage exactly the same (not more and not less) strange. Maybe its just for me, dont know (or maybe some additional fixes in latest official release, not tried yet).

Indeed, 'feel more' is a rather subjective and blurry term to use that doesn't really mean anything.

I have no idea how much is portioned toward taxes, I just have a $359CAD upgrade price from the shop. I know I'll do the upgrade at some point in some way, but apparently the price to upgrade for Canadians at this moment is just under half of a brand new license. I'm good to wait

I did during the beta, its consistently measurably faster by many seconds on my 6700k

I like all the improvements, but not 270$ like them or whatever the upgrade cost was. Time to hold out for some upgrade discount later
