Dear Urs!
I really like what you are doing for us. It would be great if there is such an opportunity in Zebra2 to save the presets by pressing the key input on the computer keyboard. Save presets with the mouse button is not always convenient. Thank you!

Zebra has been 64-bit for years now, and working just fine across many DAWs.Vaniano wrote:Is new 2.8 zebra work flawlessly with Cubase 9.5 ?
at least I'm asking about 64bit compatibily between them
This is not ideal because typical saving key combinations are reserved by your DAW. So I don't think it's going to happen. Pretty much all plugins I know save presets via mouse and that's that.atmelcool wrote:Dear Urs!

I've been having so much fun with Repro 5, I (almost) forgot how cool Zebra is. 100% Zebra 2.8 here...I especially like my gong cymbals at 1:00 and 1:22 Thanks for the great synths, Urs! -Perry- https://soundcloud.com/perryleed/zebra-fest-2018

Hi, I bought a zebra 2 license and downloaded 2.8 beta - very nice wtih the large editor screens, etc.
I found a bug with Zebra in my DAW - after opening and closing the zebra user interface a few times, it would not close and stayed on the screen. A bit later it opened a new UI but there was a "dead" UI also being displayed. I have never seen this with any other plugin so presumably a bug in Zebra 2.8 beta.
Also, it takes a long time for the UI to appear after it is activated - I think this problem has already been reported.
How do we feed back bugs in 2.8 beta ?

I'm almost sure that this is already on thread, but I'm too lazy to search:
in the edit screen of oscillators, please put a proper (x) close button somewhere on the final version. And in the screen to search the oscillators waveforms too.

wow......loving Zebra2.8, the new look, monster wave edit view, and wavefolder are great!
Zebra2 is definitely back in heavy rotation for me! I try out new stuff sometimes, but I always come back. It's the only software synth that one could literally cut an album with, all by itself.
Thanks Urs.

"To try" and "actually having something to show" are two different things, though.

I hope, but we've been hearing about Zebra 3 for quite some time now. In an article on AskAudio in June, 2017, they posted this picture and said Zebra3 was still at least a year away.Shiek927 wrote:Excited to see the Z3 beta in April and finally get a first look at it c:

We can hope.....but I think we are still a while off. I'm expecting it to be some next level shit. Probably a CPU hog, and I wouldn't have it any other way. Zebra2 is fantastic, so that with a complete face lift, plus some improvement in the sound engine which is already really good, but so many others have caught up, some eclipsing IMO (Synthmaster comes to mind), is what I"m hoping for. I also hope that the Dark Zebra is no more, and the Diva filters are simply part of Zebra3, and in stereo if desired.

April in German means December 31st.
