I don´t know, if it is so difficult... I mean, it´s nothing else than playing the third 1 octave higher...
So, it could easily be done for every chord structure, which has got a third...
Every chord has got a root note, which can be doubled to one octave below...and that´s it... nothing else...
But I am a noob regarding of music theory...I might be wrong...

It's not too hard, I just want to get the terminology correct.Trancit wrote:I don´t know, if it is so difficult... I mean, it´s nothing else than playing the third 1 octave higher...

I also want to make sure it does the correct thing when you enable an inversion and octave up for example.

It's not in the next beta, but it will be in before launch. I've added the ability to do custom chords. For example if you wanted a major chord with an extra note an octave up, you'd create a chord and type "0, 4, 7, 12" for the pitches.

I don´t have really a picture in my mind about typing the pitches, but thx very much...FigBug wrote:It's not in the next beta, but it will be in before launch. Being able to make my custom chords inside of the pattern generator will raise the usuability for me enormous...
Thx for listening and the update will be an instant buy for me for sure

I don´t know, if this is a bug, but everytime if I want to save an edit as a template I get an error message:
While the first time it said: cannot save temp.tmp...
But the templates are saved...

Rack Stack View:
Crash:
drop a plugin
click on the 3 little horizontal lines on the right hand side
Crash
Other problems:
- I can only reorder by draggin the plugin towards the bottom, which places this plugin to the first place...
Means every plugin I want to insert/drop at the final place gets automatically routed to the first place and everything else has to be rerouted...
Routing in between (droping the 2nd after the third etc...) works fine
After routing a little bit (droping the plugins around) I can even insert now a plugin to the last position... weird
- clicking the power button opens the GUI respectfully clicking anywhere opens the GUI... no,no,no...

Issue with Waves plugins
1. After updating waves plugins through waves central, duplicate plugins show up in the plugins section. Plugins in existing project now inactive, restarting Waveform and PC does not resolve. Clearing duplicate plugins (remove any plugins whos files no longer exist) and restarting Waveform resolves the issue, plugins previously assigned in project now work.
2. Even after resolving issue one, Waves plugin entries in the custom menu (which I use) are gone. No other vendor plugins are effected. Need to re add all these plugins to menu.

I tried this method to add a rack preset to a track... but it doesn´t work...:dRowAudio wrote: You can do this if you create a preset for the Multi Sampler (e.g. just the default settings) and then create a script to add that to the selected track:Code: Select all
var tracks = Tracktion.getSelectedEditElements ('track'); var preset = Tracktion.getPresetFromLibrary ('Multi Sampler Default'); Tracktion.insertPluginPreset (tracks[0], preset);
Code: Select all
var tracks = Tracktion.getSelectedEditElements ('track');
var preset = Tracktion.getPresetFromLibrary ('Default Rack');
Tracktion.insertPluginPreset (tracks[0], preset);- KVRian

I'll also do it so you can select some notes from a chord and it'll figure out the pitches, assuming the lowest selected note is the root.Trancit wrote: I don´t have really a picture in my mind about typing the pitches, but thx very much...

I also added octave up, octave down and spread to the chord pattern generator.
I'll try and get another build out before release so you can test.

9.0.32 is out. Can you try the octave up, octave down and spread in the chord pattern generator. And the chord editor in the settings panel, the better chord creator will come in 9.0.33

I know, I´ve asked already for much... but perhaps you guys could finetune the opacity of the midi notes ...
Because I didn´t find any "Snap to key" in the midi editor, I go the oldschool way of underlying a clip including the notes of my scale... sadly, it looks a bit buisy because of the strong opacity of the underlying clip, which editing posibillity is already deactivated:
For my taste, deactivated underlying clips should have some greyish colour with much much higher transparency...
Like it is now, it´s hard to tell, where my editable notes are...

This could well be something to do with VirtualBox.
What's the performance like on the system which VirtualBox is running on?
