I use Renoise, when i make preset modifications in Tyrell, save my project and open it up again, all parameters are default and the track is "ruined". It's a really good synth and i would like to use it, but it's kinda useless in it's current state. What to do?

It runs fine in other DAWs....

Off the top of my head (in no particular order), you can...

1. Send in a support ticket to U-he
2. Send in a support ticket to Renoise (my guess is the issue is on their end)
3. Use another instrument
4. Use Tyrell, save the preset in the U-he preset format, and just load the preset each time
5. Do #4 and before you exit your DAW, also bounce the instrument to audio
6. Use another DAW
7. Oh, and before you do all that, make sure you're using v3.03 rev 389. If not, you should update first
8. And does ReNoise do VST3? If so, DON'T use the VST3 version. There are issues (see the VST3 Readme text file in the installer)

The latest revision is actually 3898, no clue why Amazona say it's 389. It isn't. It's the same revision as most of our current stable versions.

We're currently not aware of any issues between Tyrell and Renoise, but then we don't get a lot of support requests revolving around Renoise.

Thanks for the replies.. i tried to re-install it, but it's no use.. hope they know something about it at renoise forum.

How to save the preset in U-He preset format?

Post

If it has .h2p extension when you save it, it's already in u-he preset format. If not, right-click the Save button.
