thanks dlarseninclusive thats the solution Ive been after too.
I like reason a lot. I love its modular 'vibe'. but it is wierd that parameters that are exposed in one area are hidden in others. Its clearly legacy limitations that they haven't gotten around to updating. Nothings perfect I guess.
