You are totally 'Grand Master Jedi' I was studying half and full wave rectifier diode diagrams for a couple of hours last night trying to get the signal to offset. Only to seeHoward wrote:Here's the example patch for those screenshots: VCA1 carries the original signal so you can compare.

Doesn't have to be unipolar to do that. You just have to read up about how to use bipolar modulation sources in the multiplex.hakey wrote:FWIW, was trying to find a unipolar sawtooth to use as an envelope for pseudo sequencing with the mapper. Looks like that isn't possible.

I've lost the patch that prompted this, but it was a bit more complicated than that... it might have been modulation of the noise knob, which iirc, opens with both positive and negative values.Howard wrote:Doesn't have to be unipolar to do that.hakey wrote:FWIW, was trying to find a unipolar sawtooth to use as an envelope for pseudo sequencing with the mapper. It's all moot as I've since realised that rectification of a sawtooth gives a DC triangle, not a DC sawtooth.

Although it's moot, see the example preset attached above. Bipolar mod sources have to be handled differently in the multiplex - you need to bridge the inputs and set the knob to 50%.

BTW for maximum percussion, try this...
That LFO2 self-modulation shifts what would normally have to be 50% modulation depth in the multiplex up to about 70%.
