moving automation with a clip?

Automation is track based, but clip based.

You can move your automation curves by cutting and pasting them.

short answer, no

we're hoping for some sort of fix but there haven't been any definite answers yet.

edit: sorry, that came out with the wrong tone. It's been requested and jules is aware of it, in the meantime copy/pasting sections of automation or automating with a midi CC is the only known workaround.

i gave the cutting and pasting a go must have been doing something wrong, i'll give it another go, not a bad workaround

just so you know, you set the section to be cut pasted with the in and out markers, then ctrl+c to copy (there's a button at the bottom but I can't remember what it's called) and ctrl+v to paste at the cursor position (or you can paste in the marked section with the button in the properties panel, it's on the right hand side)

ah thats why, i don't think i had the markers anywhere close to what i was trying to copy, thanks for all the help!
