Even if I usually dont use loops I thought I just download whats included with basic upgrade called "drum loops lombardo".

Now while wandering threw the labyrinth of the tracktion website (I still never find what I am looking for, but thats another thing long disscussed....) I come to a site where all three drum loop packages are with prize and description. And when I look for the desription there stands something about "game sounds, chip tunes...."So are the drum loops only this 8 bit bleep bleep stuff or was there something going wrong on the site ? Cause if thats the case I will never install and just delete the download, would be wasted disk space for me.

I seen that too . I think it's a mistake on Tracktion site . There is also a link somewhere on the site for some free 8bit VST instruments as well .

So the drum loops are just "real" drumloops ? Have you found a description somewhere what kind are in the "lombardo" ?

If you watch the new Waveform 9 Highlights video, there's some info on the drum loops. They're in Track loop format, which means you can drag them into an edit as a stereo wav, or expand them as 24 tracks of individual audio hits. You can then also drag them into the MultiSampler, and do a Recycle type chopping of them into individual hits, so you can rearrange the loops as midi

Seems like quite a cool new bit of the package, tbh. I'll be checking them out.
