Impossible to buy?

I have tried several times today, to purchase the W9 upgrade. But everytime, after I have entered the credit card data, I get the message "An error ocurred on the server. Please try again". Needless to say, trying again doesn't help.

I had a few problems with W8. In the end, I paid with PayPal instead. I did the same this time.

Sounds good - PayPal actually handles all the payment methods - they are our payment gateway
Might be worth checking with them if there is an issue with your credit card or card provider - its very rare for transactions to be blocked

Well, I have paid with the same method for previous versions. I'll try again tomorrow.

I tried again today but no luck. Strange, since I used this card to purchase software from the US as recently as last week. Anyway, I gave up and went the Paypal route.
