Introducing whole new tab of features. The sequencer field can now be sequentially transformed as a whole. Including running game of life family of cellular automata, you can define custom rules with some additional twists.
Details can be found in updated manual:

Update links has been sent by e-mail to existing customers. If you haven't got it, check spam folders. Or write me, or PM me if you can't find it.
I wanted to re-ignite intro price for the occasion, but Kontakt Hub talked me into making a whole sale, so... everything is on sale... until the end of February.

This update includes hidden experimental feature, which can be used to make Cracklefield sequencer control multiple patches loaded into another Kontakt instance. Have a look....

Genius! I am both thrilled and in horror at how I will justify not doing all the things I need to do in the next few days so I can play with this. I’ve been using Cracklefield a lot lately, such a deep and versatile sequencer and now even more versatile. Amazing.

Of course like a complete asshole I will ask for one, no two, more things. To be able to change pitch and maybe velocity of individual cells with the mouse eg click on cell and drag up and down to raise or lower pitch.
That’s because I like to isolate sections of the overall map into sub sequences. It would be great to control the info a bit more easily than
Actually hang on a bit I will go and try something......

It wouldn't be doable this way because of Kontakt controller number limit - cells have to be buttons and switches. Assigning custom values to cells has been asked before and there's midi learn function, in maps tab you set mode for pitch map and/or velocity map to custom (learn), and play notes with MIDI controller. Cursor one acts as "tape head" then.woggle wrote:To be able to change pitch and maybe velocity of individual cells with the mouse eg click on cell and drag up and down to raise or lower pitch.
If you'd prefer to set them one by one with sliders, I could add slider controllers on maps tab, which would work similarly, you would select cell by placing cursor 1 and then tune it with sliders similar to those for velocity map. Would it be acceptable?

Thanks for your kindness. Would it work like this. I select a cell, then move the slider to the pitch I want. Move to another cell then use the slider again. Move to another cell etc etc. would I have to do all cells like this to make a custom map, or could I just tweak one or two cells here and there to change an existing map?
If like this that would be fantastic for me and I imagine others as well

Yes, generate map automatically, switch to custom map and fine-tune individual cells. Possibly I'd add means to clone a map fragment to fill up the entire field. Could you possibly contact me by e-mail, so we could test it?

How did I miss this? I've always admired your delightfully odd music. I will definitely need to check out your equally delightful Kontakt instruments!
