Hey,

today I got mail that 2cAudio Breeze 2 came out and it made me curious. I installed the demo and was curious about the "lower CPU impact" of the new version. And then I tested MTurboReverb against it with similar settings (so that the sound is nearly the same) and it was 50% of the CPU usage of Breeze 2 on my machine. Vojtech, you are a magician! Thanks for this unbelievable great reverb! :clap:

And sorry for this nearly-information-less fanboy thread, but this had to be said! :D

Agree, the quality is very realistic to me! It has a unique sound over other reverbs
Plus you can do crazy modulation and spectrum dividing MB stuff.
Melda has really pushed the technology far beyond the limits of other companies

Like some already mentioned in the other comparison threads I too made the exact opposite experiences when comparing MTR to other reverbs. It always used way more cpu for similar* sounding reverbs because of its generic process. And it is quite hard to really create a new fitting sound. :shrug:

*I never got it to sound exactly like I wanted it. It was easier with other plugins...

Breeze 2 is quite a bit more efficient here, just sayin...

Did you guys check the standard reverb / r algo from MTurboReverb? I can get the best reuslts already from this one. Even with lower complexity. I tweaked a default preset a bit and using this as a standard preset to start my reverb design from:

Additionally: I did not check for sure with Breeze 1, since I had to install it again and I do not want to at the moment (lazy me, sorry :D) ... but as far as I remember Breeze 1 always needed around 4% to 8 % in the FL Studio CPU bar, while Breeze 2 seem to always use 6% to 11% with most presets I've tested so far (MTurboReverb 3% to 5%). To be honest: these were REALLY brief and loose tests. Nothing scientific for sure. And yes: some active presets from MTurboReverb need more CPU, that's right. But again: the standard r algo seem to do just fine on sound and CPU, according to my experience.
