just worked, but could it be that you may only have 1 instance in a project?Vortifex wrote:The demo was working fine for me in FL12. You sure it's not a demo timeout?Caine123 wrote:i dont get any sound off breeze 2.0 with fl12 :/

im really about to buy this, i dunno what exactly i would benefit over R4 (as i dont know much about reverbs) but i love the sound so far.
but what differentiates it to Aether & B2, when would u choose breeze 2, aether and b2 as i see all in breeze 2, like rooms, classic halls, plates, ambiences etc.

One of the demo limitations of all of our products is that you can only load 1 instance at a time....
answers to any more detailed questions tomorrow. have to step out now...

If you are making comparisons to third parties I'd basically compare:
1) The workflow/GUI (note we don't have the 2.0 manual yet and still tons of people are using it with very few questions)
2) Efficiency (how much CPU power to you need to burn to use it?)
3) The sound (does it have the magic? does it inspire? does it produce goosebumps etc?)
(and 2b: Wallet efficiency. Can you still eat after purchase, etc?)
In other words:
Simple. Light. Pristine.
If you combine all of this I don't know of anything that comes close to Breeze 2.
See the first post, where I just updated all the info with the full release info. It explains a lot more.
Or put another way it's:
Simply Better.

The sound is absolutely stunning, as usual (I already own Aether, Breeze and B2), it sounds massive and full like I've rarely heard, and the CPU usage is lower than most of the reverb I know and use (I've compared when trying to get the exact same reverb sound, Breeze 2 wins everytime). And the modulation sound is superb !
I wish it had
- two additionnal peak filters in the EQ section, I find this EQ frustrating.
- a ducking feature. D16 Group Toraverb 2 comes with ducking and it's sold for 69€, time for modern features !
- a way to stop the plugin from lowering the sound you run through it everytime you add reverb (or is it the balance/mix feature ? no change here).
Congrats, gorgeous sound for the price !

so if i want to have more possibilities and better sound + have more money i should get Aether as far as i understand this?Andrew Souter wrote:I would not say one is better than the other at everything. Each has its strengths. Breeze definitely does not outclass Aether on the whole.Breeze wrote:Ha! Well, I'm, uh, honored!![]()
But seriously: I just tried Breeze (the plugin...) and it really is very nice. In fact from the get-go, the very first Cathedral preset is a joy to listen to. Some quick A/Bing with Aether clearly shows the lineage and I was able to get very close to some Breeze presets from modding some Aether presets, but others clearly demonstrate that Breeze has something new to offer: a overall warmer and more present sound along with deeper modulation effects. For someone who doesn't have Aether, Breeze is a good deal at $99.
But more importantly, will Aether ever sound the same as Breeze? I'd pay to hear these sonic improvements in Aether. It's somewhat disquieting that in some regards, the underling outclasses the flagship and I'm sure I'm not the only Aether user puzzled by this strategy. But I understand the financial imperatives that impose feature distribution, and of course you're free to market your products as you see fit. Like I said, I'm not a good consumer these days...
Aether is still king of the family. Breeze is a promising young prince.
There are some things in Breeze that we intend to add back to Aether yes. A few areas have improvements from recent research/discoveries that are quite powerful. These will go back into Aether. But it will likely not happen until 2.0 though.
We probably want to release a few new non-reverb products before we do Aether 2.0. We've been waiting to do them for 2 years now.

Our pace should quicken now that RTAS is done though, and the other systems stuff we did in Aether 1.5.0. We have a very powerful development platform now...
so aether eats up breeze 2?

Sorry if this has been asked before, but scanned through a decent amount of pages and didn't see.
How can you reset the GUI size of this? I intended on trying the demo in FL Studio, and when clicking on the GUI/size button (tried clicking on the arrow and expected some dropdown list choice), it kept just increasing in size which made the entire plugin too large for my screen. And now I have absolutely no option of going back to any default size, and can't find any config file to reset this.

So what will come first, Aether 2 or B2 2. And will it really be called B2 2.

right click makes it smaller, or click on the arrow thingy and select a size.BeeDog wrote:Sorry if this has been asked before, but scanned through a decent amount of pages and didn't see.
