Ok, you two ... why not just get a hotel room and continue there, ok?

In other news: I tend to agree with you about Code Red and will also most probably end up having to get myself the full version.
While I am also deeply in love with Klanghelm's SDRR, this one does the right thing really well too.
(actually I am sometimes using both of them on the same track)

I still remember him asking me to free up my seat for some hot blonde girl when I was sitting beside him a few years ago, so I'm inclined to assume he'd not really be keener on that than I am myself.lingyai wrote:Ok, you two ... why not just get a hotel room and continue there, ok?

I was just thinking aloud, don't flatter yourself, Jens.
(You can always PM me if you're shy though).
Anyway, yes, ah , Code Red... pardon my failing eyesight, but I can't make out the markings on the two rows of new knobs in the screengrab of the GUI. Do i guess correctly these are frequency and Q controls for the EQ bands?

Yes, those are Q and frequency control knobs. If you click on the image on the product page http://www.kvraudio.com/product/code-re ... io/details you will get the full size image.lingyai wrote:Code Red... pardon my failing eyesight, but I can't make out the markings on the two rows of new knobs in the screengrab of the GUI. Gave it a go and... it worked well... too well! It sounds great and makes me even more frustrated I can't get the 64bit version to work as I really, really like this plugin nowSGA wrote:Since you are using Reaper, you can give the 32 bit version of Code Red Free a go in bridged mode.cprompt wrote: right now I'm not going to update it for the sake of one plugin (that I would like to try as people say it sounds great). To be fair, that's my loss

Glad that the 32 bit version of Code Red Free worked well. You can keep using the 32 bit version, and if you should ever update your win7 you know what to expect from the 64 bit version.cprompt wrote: Gave it a go and... it worked well... too well! To answer my own question...foo21345 wrote:Just wondering if all the bells and whistles are worth getting a commercial version? The fact that Code Red has Telefunken V72 emulation almost made me pull the trigger on purchase. Just curious what other people's (primarily owners of Code Red) opinions?
Code Red is f'in awesome. I really liked the free version and was hesitant to shell out cash for additional features. After about two weeks of using Code Red, I am happy I bought it. 72 preamp model and the mid/side processing option alone are worth the upgrade. Having a full featured EQ is just icing on the cake. I was experimenting with chaining two instances one with the 72 pre and the other with the 47 pre. Overdriven 72 driving hard (almost the **** out of it ) the 47 pre gives a great trashy sound.
Fantastic job SGA! Keep 'em coming.
