Oops, okay, thanks.

Well, at least Soundforge is the full version.
A well-behaved signature.

If it is like the last time, you get a link to download and a serial number. Somewhere in the setup/start up, you register the serial number and it will show up in your Magix account.

Magix has 2 areas, the regular area and the "Pro" area. I found my Samplitude and SpectraLayers in the pro area, but SoundForge is in the regular area. This Samplitude, although it says Pro on it, doesn't look like a Pro version - only 8 tracks? So it may all be in the standard area - i.e. where you sign in and click on My Products.
Really, only 8 tracks? Can someone confirm?
Ive come to the conclusion that the serial activation for permanent begins with TRIALC-xx.... its an entry/pilot to X3 upgrade

I can only hope you don't been ripped off by them.

As a former long time Sound Forge user I decided to bit the bullet and bought the whole bundle. After payment you will get a link where you can redeem all the serials. You just click a button and it will generate a serial that you can copy and paste. The same link has also all the installers. With the exception of Samplitude X2 Silver, all the installers are just bootstrap programs that will initiate download of full installer. You can also go directly to Magix site download center and enter a serial to get the same installer.

After installation the full installers are saved in in your Documents folder under MAGIX Downloads\Installationsmanager so you can back them up if you wish.

Samplitude X2 Silver does not have a serial and the download is a full installer. The serial is created during first run.

Most of the bundle is a filler. The worthy parts are Sound Forge Pro and Sound Forge Audio Studio.
Sound Forge Pro is exactly like I remember it - a deep and efficient no nonsense audio editor. It's quite old fashioned and surprisingly still looks like it looked in 2000. :o I don't mind, but some of the windows like the file explorer do bring back memories and a feeling of nostalgia. :hihi: Overall it really is probably my favorite audio editor of all time and it's good to have a copy of a recent version again. Like someone above said, when you need to do batch conversions or make changes to a bunch of files at once, Sound Forge is hard to beat.
Also do note that the bundle version does not have a serial for the iZotope Elements stuff, so don't bother downloading and installing them.

Sound Forge Audio Studio is a cut down version and looks and feels pretty much the same as Pro. It just has less features. It's still worth keeping, for example, if you want to have a editor also on a second computer. Also you can upgrade it for 39$ at the moment to the version 12 with iZotope Elements included.

The rest, I do not care much about. Acid Pro might be worth keeping if you like it. Samplitude X2 Silver is really cut down to the point of not being very useful. The rest is just filler.

Top notch explanation, robotmonkey - thank you! I hope you do audio product reviews in your professional life! :tu:

I've got a Reason Limited code that I think is still valid - if anyone wants to try it to make use of the current $99 upgrade offer, post to this thread and I'll do it first-come first-served.

I would like a copy of Reason Limited if still available!

Waves Audio coupon codes.

Is there one for March 2018?

Where do people normally find out about the Waves coupon codes?

Thanks ...
This is the same method MJ used when he was working on Anthony Marinelli's Thriller.

When I hear about them I save them to a text file. As far as I know YNY23 is the only one that continues to work at the Waves site.

Here are some others that have worked previously (mostly at re-sellers): CK901, DJC59, DK39S, WEEKEND10 - but not sure if they still work anywhere.

Awesome. Thanks. :) YNY23 worked @ Audiodeluxe.

I'll copy all into a text file for later use. :tu:

There is also a 15% discount for the entire discography

Is this a joke? Those samples can be found for free everywhere. This is nothing (like your whole portfolio) and you dare to ask money for it??? Now thats ridiculous!

I would be interested to learn if that actually works. Because if it does, I need to reconsider my career choice.
