FR - Simple envelope displays on easy screen

I want to build something similar to the new Boom Enforcer plugin, which is basically just a bass drop generator, envelope triggered to the input.
https://www.boomlibrary.com/sound-effects/enforcer/
It's easy to create this in MXXX, but i can't replicate the interface for envelope usability. I've had this issue before with other MXXX creations, where I wanted to make a simplified envelope editor on the easy screen... but all we have access to is the usual knobs/sliders/XYpad/etc.
Any chance we could get a mini visual display of specific modulator envelopes? That way, we can use the knobs to control multiparameters, that would change the shape of the envelope, that is displayed next to the knobs.
Anyone else?

I was just thinking of something similar - a simple step sequencer display. You would burn up a lot of MPs (one control per step level), but the ability for the user to specify step modulation would open up a host of new possibilities. To do this for envelopes is probably even more generally useful, so big +1 from me.

Sorry for the offtopic (while I also find this idea interesting, by the way!): isn't this new Enforcer plugin just like MBassador?

No I don't think they're the same. Bassador is more like a saturator or enhancer effect for the low frequencies. Enforcer is more like a simple synth that is triggered by the input signal.

In another thread I found out the same, yes. Thanks for explaining, haha.

Well, the good news is that I can imagine the way to do that with the new V12 kernel. The bad news is that it is still rather complicated and there's no dev time left... So I don't think it will make it, at least now. But I get it, I'd like that from time to time too. But it's still a "master-class" feature, not anything 99.999% people would use... so I have to prioritize...

Yeah, but those other 0.001% are the people doing things like presets for MTurboDelay ... so like you said, you need to prioritize.MeldaProduction wrote:But it's still a "master-class" feature, not anything 99.999% people would use... so I have to prioritize...

Yeah it's not a priority, I'm just glad it's possible and could be in the future

No no, don't worry, still live, I just got heavily overworked... turns out it affects the health badly...
Anyways getting close to the major update alpha finally.

These would be great in MYYY. I’m fine if this feature isn’t implemented I’m, but I hope it will be included sometime in the future.
Glad to hear Vojtech is doing better. You’re already the hardest working developer, you don’t need to prove anything. Don’t forget to take a break sometimes.
