Can I request that these temp files are hidden by default. They really clutter up my IR folders.

Melda's convolutional reverb creates temp files from any user IR's, these can be '.wav48' with the number being whatever the samplerate of the session (i think) is. I presume it's required if the samplerate of the IR is different to the samplerate of the session.
Can I request that these temp files are hidden by default. They really clutter up my IR folders.

Hehe not that simple - hidden for whom? You mean the system? Or the browsers? Or what?
Anyways they are created to speed up loading next time the IR is used, the HQ resampling requires considerable amount of CPU.

Hidden by Windows. As in they are not shown by Windows Explorer unless you have 'display hidden files' enabled.

Aaaha, ok, that should work. Unfortunately it won't work on OSX...
