EQ550 is modeled after a renowned American EQ created with custom op-amps. It has a Proportional-Q design, meaning that the bandwidth of the filters becomes narrow when the gain of the filter increases. For low gain settings the EQ delivers a smoother tone, while its character becomes gradually more aggressive as the bands gain is raised. This design makes the EQ550 unique.

How and where?

Click on the link, scroll down and click on the "Get a free licence" button. You will need to set up an Overloud account if you don't have one.

after going through the whole process, none of the installer download buttons work in any of my browsers

The plugin will be released on March 19. This is a pre-sale promotion. Sorry, I failed to include all that information before, I have added it to the original post now.

Really looking forward to that one. I played around with FL Studio on a Windows box a while back and liked the workflow a lot. But all my production systems are Mac only, so this is a no go at the moment.

But wasn't that announced a while back? Is there any new info that has been released?

Classic click bait and fake news. This article is just saying that the beta is out there and that FL Studio 20 will be launched some time this year. So no news and no new information.

They really need to offer an upgrade to the bundle though. Near as I can figure,
even at -20%, for me to complete the bundle with what I have already, would cost
me in total, at least $100 more than the price of the bundle. Which is pretty lame.

I agree, i used my vouchers in the recent sale, not wanting the whole bundle originally. I only have dopamine missing now but wont get it unless a nice deal pops up.

Agree, great plugin, even if it wasn´t freebie.

E.g. the preset "Augmented Definition" made wonders to the female vocal I just recorded.
I believed 550 was famous especially because its low frequency liftup, but in any case this vocal improved 50 % via the 550 quick-and-easy-treatment.

I have to compare this API emulation to the Waves 550 I have in my main computer, this one I installed to my mobile setup.
