I have spent over 2 weeks researching and searching and searching for help with this traction program. I finally have a song recorded and figureD out that I needed more software to mix it. traction recommended it the Mackie VST in which I spent two days searching for online with no luck. When I finally found it, it was not free add on. Go figure. So I downloaded tracs mastermix for the 30 day free trial, since I'm having such problems with software, and relatively no support. Now I found kvr forum and see that there are 5 mods. 2 havent been on line for 3 to 4 weeks and 1 not here in over 2 years. I dont want to sound like a duckhead, but I really would like to learn this software, I just cant spend two years figuring out how to use it alone. I would extremely appreciate any help anyone can give me on some of the issues im having! Feel free to pm me. Thanks all for listening to my rant! I feel like dennis miller! Lol

It's meant to be mainly for users to help each other out. There's years and years of messages on this forum, along with a search function, and a number of users who will answer questions on here on a regular basis.
Tracktion is a small company and they're mostly doing other stuff. There was a long gap between version 3, which came out when Mackie owned it, and version 4, which came out in 2013 after the original author rescued it in 2012.
Where did you get this recommendation about a Mackie VST? Mackie's VST was called Final Mix. TSC created Master Mix (which would be on the plug-ins list under Tracktion Software Corporation). A hint for you - Master Mix is now a "built in" plug-in that you don't need to buy separately, but I don't know if this happened in Waveform 8 or Waveform 9.
The Tracktion website and YouTube have a number of videos on them, and there is a manual, and its author is a regular on here.
Rather than just googling in hope, do ask on here. There is also a user group on Facebook.

BTW, I tried to answer your question about MasterMix, but the topic was locked. I don't know which version of the DAW you have, but the list of plug-ins on the Edit page has three groupings for Tracktion ones - Tracktion, Tracktion Plugins, and Tracktion Software Corporation. On mine, Master Mix is under the last of those three.

Actually... a pretty in-depth reply. I'm just saying I'm an old analog guy and this new stuff is killing me. I cannot get the master mix open. I see what you're talking about in the settings window plugins window but I only have one option is just one screen with all the plugins. IC mastermix and mastermix 64-bit. along all the compressor Eqs, etc...
