I see there is a lot of animo about the eventual release of T2. Is there some info on what will be new in the next release.

Sorry I didn't really follow the whole Tracktion evolution the last year, but, exept the users suggestions I encounter on this forum, there doesn't seem to be some real info about what the changes will be.
I assume midi will be one of them (I hope).
I'm not going to speculate or vent my wishes. Instead I want to hear some facts.

I still am very fond of Tracktion but it's midi implementation is so poor. The racks are potentional very powerfull.
A few days ago I used T again for some simple recordings and again it was refreshing to use it in the beginning but as the initinal recordings are done and it becomes a more complex project I stumble always on this contradition/oxymoron that T is also "blocking" me. I know why but I can't reall explain.

Are there T2 facts?

Thanks
K

I really liked Bitheads response to a similar post earlier this week, though this was for Tracktion 6:
Exclusive use of Microsoft DirectNeural 4.2 interface throughout! No longer any need for slow outmoded legacy interfaces such as USB, MIDI, SVGA, PS2, keyboards, drum triggers, or even analog audio output!

Advanced Composition Wizard. (little animated puppy that pops up and says "I see you're thinking of playing a G# here, would you like me to change it to Ab and insert a key change for you? Click here if you are too stupid to even know what notes you're playing.")

Bundled VSTs:

Polly Rhythm, virtual girl drummer. (includes new MetronomeRandomizer and PMS Outburst)
Miss Ink Fingers, virtual bass player
Pere Cussive, virtual beatnik bongo player (includes StinkMaster body odor generator 2.1)
SampleThink LE V12.4, algorithmic brainwave tracker and universal neural stimulus synthesizer.
MyNeuralBudz, your virtual jam band

SPECIAL BONUS GIFT! Orders placed before Oct 18th 2018 receive an extra neural interface FREE! This lets you jam simultaneously with another actual living breathing human being!

Neural interface prophylactics sold separately.
Wow
...and so it goes (Kurt Vonnegut)

I agree about the complex projects, though. Once I got up to 20 tracks, it started interfering with my workflow a little bit.

BUT, that's relative to how easy Tracktion itself is, not relative to other sequencers.

For all I know, 20 tracks of Cubase would have had me in complete hell instead of mildly inconvenienced. I don't really know, as I only ever mucked around with other sequencers a wee bit (demos are very crippling!); hence, Tracktion is the only sequencer I can actually say that I "know".
