Ok, I think I've finally tracked down what the problem is here. It turns out that when setting a vstpreset file you need to set it for the controller and component parts. This is a bit odd and setting only the component part seems to work for some plugins but not all.

I've updated this now and tested with Softube Tube Delay so hopefully it's working for Padshop as well (I can't test this as my trial has expired).

I don't know if it's related, but i have a project that uses Sonimus Tuco. It was started on a Mac and later imported on a PC. They both have Tuco. The only diference is that on the Mac i created a preset inside Tuco.
When i click on Tuco on the PC it close Waveform 8.2.27 without notice. When i insert Tuco it doesn't crash. I suspect it only crash Waveform on the PC when i choose the Tuco instance that was using that preset.
Should i report this to Sonimus too?

It's happening here to. Same situation, even with VST3 version of the plugin.
