TIP: Sonogram colours in the EQs

I find the default sonogram colours a bit difficult to see in styles with dark backgrounds, such as Titanium (and Excitonium_DS!). After a bit of experimentation I have come up with some others. You may like them.


To install them:
-- download the attached .zip file, unzip it to your Desktop,
-- start your DAW and load an Equalizer,
-- click [Settings] in the EQ graph area, then the "Sonogram" tab, the [Presets] button and the "Presets" entry in the menu (to open the Sonogram Presets Editor)
-- select "Root", then [Add] a new folder
-- with that folder selected, click [Import], then [Desktop] and select the sonogram_palettes preset
-- click the tick, then [Add] then the next tick.

Open that Presets Editor again and [Load] one of the presets (the top one is a copy of the default, for back-up).

PS With Sonogram off and Analyzer and Fill on, it looks a bit like the Aurora Borealis.
