When using the pattern generator heavily for the last 2 days, I've noticed that the root note hangs frequently.
Is this something that is currently known or reproducible for anyone else?

Are you using a plugin or an external midi synth for playing the chords?

I should mention that this happens while auditioning chords, not during playback.

It hasn't happened me with VSTs. It does happen once in a while with my Nord Electro. I haven't tested this with the latest Waveform version though.

I reported this a some time ago as well... it´s some kind of bug with the preview of notes in the pattern generator...Robert Randolph wrote:VST plugins. For the moment there are 2 workarounds...
1. Disable the note preview by deactivating the little speaker icon in the middle of the midi editor toolbar...
2. Get used to start/stop the playback shortly once you got the hanging notes...
I personally have deactivated the midi preview and use the sequencer playback for that...
