A slight departure from the usual sales posted in here, this time for recording monitors.

Guitar Center is running the "From Studio to Stage" sale. There's an in-store-only special through April 11th on Yamaha HS series monitors. Buy one, get one 1/2 price. This applies to HS5, HS7, and HS8 models.

To further sweeten the deal, Yamaha is offering a mail-in rebate up to March 31st for HS series products as well.

Let's say you wanted to buy a pair of HS8 monitors. Yamaha is offering $45 back for each HS8 monitor, which would give you a $90 rebate on the pair.

So, to add up all the discounts for a pair of HS8 monitors:

GC discounted price: $525
Yamah rebate: -$90

Total price: $435

I emailed Yamaha and verified that the rebate can be combined with the GC sale: "as long as each product submitted for rebate have different serial numbers."
