hi Urs, i know you're terribly horribly ultra super busy, but i just wanted to ping you about Dominion again; it's my job. Please port the best effects plug ever made, and soon, or dash my hopes completely by admitting there are ugly and stupid issues with Sascha. You have the Source. We NEEEEEED this!

(those in the audience, if you have never played with Dominion under Windows or MacOS 9, check this: http://www.digitalfishphones.com/main.p ... &subItem=4 It is similar to the SPL Transient Modulator hardware (the original!) and Sony TransMod plugin (a blatant copy). There is nothing like this in OS X AU/VST format, and it is such a very very useful tool for many many things! Urs has promised for ages to get around to it, and my job is to remind/harass him. Hell, i'd even PAY for it!

What I'm doing right now will be worth waiting longer (or maybe forever, I don't know

No ugly issues with Sascha, just... kinda... being obsessed by other things. You'll know it when you'll see it...

Well, Sascha will definately not give away the code to any other developer. You know the circumstances...

Dude, actually, it's not really a problem to do it. It's just, you gotta be motivated to spend a whole day or two on the dev stuff, then write/read/answer tens of emails with the beta testers and so on.

I'm currently so eaten up by the other stuff... It's like, you *could* write a song for your best friend's birtday video. But while you're writing the soundtrack for a Tarantino movie, you know that you won't be able give it the attention it should have. Hence...

Yeah, I hear ya. I could finish off my sister's songs that I promised I would do months ago, but I really need to play deathmatch DOOM and keep not finishing my own songs!

yeah exactly...

Well, I thought you knew that Sascha now works in Magix' dsp department and that his algorithms drive their latest compressors and stuff... because these algorithms are now property of, uhm, Magix...

All that Sascha or I are allowed to do with them is, well, bugfixes, but no new releases.
