I have to admit, I am a noob regarding programming and it´s terminology...What can one do with that???

Does that mean, that skilled users can make custom commands for Tracktion like scripting in Reaper???

Yes, the show API button now gives you a HTML document which you can browse for the method signatures, descriptions and functionality.
Existing scripts that combine one or more calls are added as examples here.

If I have time, I'd like to re-organise the "add action" menu in the editor and improve script searching/editing.

Does Bass-Preset for the pattern generator making changed recently???

I cannot remember exactly how I did it last month, but today I wanted to save a bass preset and thought that the root has to be on C that the root note change works on the pattern generator...

But a pattern saved with C ended up with having a C note in the bass pattern afterwards... (while the chord track played a Gm chord)

The manual doesn´t explain, where the pitch has to be...

good update. Problem is in long time. In the editor there is the toggle notes on/off mode to create melodies. when enable it and disable some notes. the notes are still show in the clip preview in the track in same color as active notes. this happen only if the track is small in Y, so the note grid is not show. if the track is larger in Y then it show correct.

for a easy to program enhancement for the toggle notes on or off to create melodies i think when click on a note and press CTRL+click split the note and select both notes. CTRl+click again on this previous selectet notes merge them. waveform have menu features for split and join notes, so maybe can easy program. but when can split and join notes in the toggle on or off note mode help to test out melodies much faster. because often a melody sound boring when many notes have same length. so have a fast feature to sploit notes is usefull

The "•" indicates to me that it's trying to render a bullet like •, but you guys used a windows encoding (1258?) instead of a utf-8 encoded bullet.

A utf-8 encoded bullet would display properly for most folks I think

Thank you for the sorting in the Custom Plugin List! If adding a button to expand/collapse isn't possible, could you maybe modify the groups such that they remember their expanded/collapsed state? Right now, if I have Group B inside of Group A .. and then collapse B, and then A, if I open A, B will be expanded. This means I'm constantly re-collapsing things as I organize. A bit annoying. =]

Edit: It would be nice if the columns in the regular plugin list remembered their positions, too.

Odd, it uses UTF-8 but maybe Safari is using a font that doesn't have that character?
I'll replace it to use the more standard "•" HTML, that seems to work.

I did spend a bit of time looking in to this but it's going to be more involved than I hoped to fix and I have other more pressing tasks at the moment I'm afraid. Will keep it on the list though and hopefully get to it soon.
