This is the same method MJ used when he was working on Anthony Marinelli's Thriller.

It still amazes me how people blame the plugins. It's NOT the plugins, it's the daw not being able to handle them.
.
then explain me why do we have "fixed bug updates for xxx vst for specific xxx daw"
REAPER, Phase Plant , Unfiltered Audio TRIAD and LION, NI classic collection,......... ETC

I have a number of Daws, all of which are highly unstable. This is the main reason that I never actually get to finish a song. I also own various hammers, screwdrivers and chisels, and they all keep crashing. :dog:

energyXT 3 tends to crash from time to time. There are some other issues aswell. Wish it was updated.

If you are pushing a lot of tracks with virtual instruments, do yourself a favor and get an external audio interface, before you consider another DAW.

The MIDI and audio timing will be a lot more stable with a good ASIO driver that is supported by the hardware manufacturer. And should provide much batter latency with lower audio buffers, before dropouts occur.

The built in stuff may work OK for a few tracks, but I would avoid it for anything ambitious. Audio interfaces and their drivers are a vital component for the audio engine in your computer, not just as a mic/line in recording interface.
