Been with Tracktion since T2, just upgraded to Waveform 9 from T7 and I like what I see, but I noticed one change that may just be a setting that reverted and it's affecting my workflow pace.
The one major design element I love about Tracktion is the lack of windows upon windows. Everything is in one interface. For all previous Tracktion installs (over the past 14 years or so), double-clicking on a MIDI clip expanded it like double-clicking on an audio track. But now, it opens a MIDI Editor window with the option to show embedded or as a popup window.
Well, I don't like either of those options and would like to use the view I used to get. I can get the old view by double clicking on the track the MIDI clip is in then zooming back to where I was in the MIDI clip notes, but that seems like a few extra clicks for something we used to take for granted in previous versions.
Is this a setting that reset that I'm unaware of and if so, does anyone know if there is a setting I can flip to switch it back? I'm looking everywhere but can't find it. =(
Thanks!
