For instance?

I will wait for the official release, but it looks like one of those synths that just invite you to make sounds, a fun synth, for which you don't need to study any manuals.

Doesn't matter in most cases (linear FX, right?).
Right :)

Love it! How long is the intro price going to be available?

What would they be as a matter of interest?

First i know it is a different synth and doesn‘t emulate a specific model so i better shut up before i get flamed.
It‘s just that the filters doesn‘t sound what i would see as „analog“ gold standard now.
Like i said i‘m biased by 3 of my favorite virtual analog synths ever and so i‘m searching for a quality like these. I mean not the same character, it must just impress me in any way.
Sorry, this doesn‘t.
But of course it might just me and a few others.

So, what are those three favorite synths of yours at the same price point or below?

I doubt you can get 'better' in this vein for $40, but i have stuff that covers this and much more already.

Im hoping this is the first step on a new path for Patrick, as i really like his stuff.

I just bought it, I am pretty stoked, it is just the level of complexity I want, sounds great, the GUI is perfect for me like all TAL synths, changing the colors to suit my needs is perfect, it makes it really easy on my eyes which is a big draw for me for this one. GUI scaling method is perfect, it is running in Reason pretty efficiently, and to top it off I feel great about supporting the developer.

It's still more expensive... I want to see what is available for the same price (as OP said). I've not seen anything so far.

I might be missing somthing however.

Still a little more expensive... What other synths are there as OP was suggesting?
