Its a very versatile,analog-type delay/echo. But you don´t necessarely need it, if you have bunch of other good delays.ErBen wrote:Echoboy is that much great? What's so great compared to other delay plugins? I read several reviews but I'd be happy to have "real users" impressions
Echoboy has become some kind of industry standard analog echo plugin. I have had Soundtoys bundle for years, I have to say I use my other delays/echos/reverbs/doublers more than Echoboy - the world is nowdays full of great echo plugins.

it's just really flexible, also quite well laid out and sounds great all-round.

And we shouldn’t forget the $100 coupon we got last Sunday.murnau wrote:Not necessarily: As i already learned it depends on how much you spend in the last 12 month.mutantdog wrote:Since a few of us haven't received vouchers we should probably contact them. It's most likely a mistake on their part.

It can work as a delay, reverb, chorus and other delay-based fx, saturation/distortion (and a good one), eq and who knows what else. It's one of the most versatile plugins I have used and sounds great in all those roles. Before I tried ST I was wondering why people call the Echoboy the star of the bundle, but it indeed is.ErBen wrote:Echoboy is that much great? What's so great compared to other delay plugins? What is this Presonus $50 Waves voucher that CCLarry mentioned in the deals thread? I own Studio One Professional, should I expect an email?

You should. It has limits though. 25% on plugins and if I am not mistaken 50% on bundles. Does not specify that in the email.soundbylaura wrote:What is this Presonus $50 Waves voucher that CCLarry mentioned in the deals thread? I own Studio One Professional, should I expect an email?

It's not much good if you're used to $29 deals.

Oh, so no Scheps Omnichannel for free? Bummer. I'll wait. It'll drop. They all do.
Edit to add: If it's still on sale for $49 when I get the voucher and a re-seller gets close to $29, maybe I'll do it.
Ah, G.A.S.

Ugh, I knew there had to be some catch. The email makes it sound like it's $50 off anythingsprnva wrote:It's not much good if you're used to $29 deals.

I haven't received the presonus email yet. I guess they're going out in waves. (pun intended)

I wonder if it would work against the WUP? Though really, I get a better deal when Waves has a sale - it is usually $75 off. There are almost enough new things to make doing the WUP worthwhile.

Registered my new Presonus Studio26 yesterday and I hope the included Studio One Artist qualifies as well. The WUP on my H-Reverb is about to expire and I could use the voucher to upgrade to the full bundle for 31$ including one year WUP instead of paying 17,50$ just for the WUP
Has anyone received a voucher yet and can tell if it is a generic one (e.g. sth like 'WavesPresonus50')?
