Teksonik you would be surprised, not everybody buys every single virtual analogue VSTI that comes out like you do. For me personally less is more, I’d rather completely master a few synths and keep things manageable, rather than keep folders full of plugins I hardly use. And there are also people out there just starting out and for who this will be right up their alley.Teksonik wrote:Doesn't matter what colors you choose you're still stuck with the green buttons and readouts etc. Perhaps in a future version those can be edited as well. This sounds alright but who doesn't already have a folder full of VA plugins ? Anything new has to be something special or have a character that sets it apart from the rest of the pack. I'm just not hearing it so far.

I was hoping the sequencer could be set to free run, but doesn’t seem to work that way, bug or by design?
No matter how I set the toggles, it returns to step 1 on a new note press.

It does....but really not much. I was hoping to use the saturation with high resonance and some modulations to achieve really snappy, pronounced and some gnarly stuff or to add some interesting harmonics.Yorrrrrr wrote:Saturation knob doesn't do anything here.
That would be my main contra here. The saturation really does not much.....beside killing the resonance

Edited, propably complained about my own error..
Edited again.. thought knobs are not responding, but now I figured only odd number of osc voices can have stereo width, even number of voices are mono no matter how you turn stereo knob. Wonder if this is intended?
Sounds tasty so far, demoing.

Finally downloaded it. The basic sound is really lovely, those pad and brass pad sounds, the best (and in my view most authentically analog, based on the sounds I know from records) I have heard from a soft synth so far
Yes, saturation doesn't seem to do much.
What I don't like is that adjustments of instance the filter envelope sustain level can not be heard while keeping keys pressed.

Another brilliant piece from the tal labs .
Great sounding filters , hi res .audio rate at a modest cpu footprint / democratic price
And thank god for taking the vector graphics route ( looking at you u-he

The default size is already OK. I can't really make it much bigger as the format is rather high to begin with.

Bug .
Route osc3--->Fm input of osc 1
Osc 2 pitch is also affecting modulation , while direct fm input of osc1 (by osc2) upper left corner is set to zero

Great, FAT sound. Unfortunately:
stupid 12-voice polyphony limit = no need to buy
(last synth with radiculous polyphony limit I've bought was TAL U-NO-LX)

12 voices is OK in my view. I mean, it is not multitimbral or anything. Classic analog synths only had 6 or 8 voices and yet people were even playing fake sine Rhodes piano on them
12 voices played at the same time use quite some CPU. More would be even worse.

Tried a little pitch modulation with the mod envelope (a third regular env would really be cool) and the result is odd.
So, I have the initial bump, but the pitch after the bump (the flat-line part on zero) is not the non-modulated pitch, and even varies with the mod amount.
Am I doing something wrong?

It's not your standard post-filter saturation , but part of the filter internal feedback loopCinebient wrote:
The saturation is really not good. It does close to nothing.
It's meant how filters behave when the input is overdriven , the resonant peaks will attenuate .
Switch to lP , cranck up osc volume to max and reso ..to max ...increase saturation..
