Maybe these two things are already possible and I'm just missing them somewhere.. but if not, I figured I'd ask.
1) Auto-display new plugin - When a plugin is added to a track (or an existing plugin is replaced), the current behavior is simply to add the plugin without displaying that plugin's UI. I'd like a toggle-able option that forces the new plugin's UI to be displayed (probably on top of whatever else is displayed).
2) Confirm clear plugin list - In Settings -> Plugins -> Scanning and sorting, there is an option to "Clear list". On more than one occasion, I've come close to accidentally clicking this... and on one occasion, I did actually click it on accident. After doing so, I had to re-scan everything. Whoops. It'd be nice if there was a confirmation dialog after clicking that option that prompts the user to see if they really do want to clear the list. It seems to me like a feature that wouldn't be used intentionally all that often, so adding the extra click to protect silly users from errant miss-clicks would be a good thing.
Thoughts?

If you set "Opening Plugin Windows: Single-click on a plugin to open its GUI window" in Settings/Plugins, a plugin's UI will open. If "Double-click" is set, it will not.
Yes, I also cleared list once, probably will not do it again but having a warning message would be ok.

Hmm.. I've got it set to single-click. I think though that the issue I'm describing isn't so much the amount of clicks involved.. as it is the behavior when a new plugin is added (or an existing one is replaced). I have to add/replace, then click the newly added plugin to open it. Would be nice if there was an option to auto-open. Save a click. I think a vast majority of the time, when I add a plugin, I want to immediately make changes in it... Maybe the current behavior is designed more for adding presets? Hmm...

Well, my Waveform (9.1.1) works this way that after I drag the new plugin component or use "Replace this plugin" option a new plugin always opens automatically, no additional clicks are needed. I can recreate the behavior you described when this "Double-click" is set. Normally it works as you desire it to work, at least on Windows 10.
