Tried buying it with the voucher from Presonus, which should be worth $50, but it only reduces about $12 of the price... some voucher..

Gotta read the fine print on the voucher. The $50 off is for bundles and it cannot exceed more than 50% of the value. It takes off 25% off plugins (which is about $12 for the Omni Channel).

Yes, it's stupid.

Stupid indeed.. should do what it says on the tin, otherwise it's just misleading.

Anyway, been wanting the Omni Channel anyway, and $12 off is better than nothing I guess.

I used that deceptively worded Presonus voucher for this too

It's a very well laid out plugin, have used it on vocals, bass, and some busses so far and it has a very nice workflow to it. Nothing revolutionary in the sound of the individual components but it's fast and delightful to work in.

It is a bit of a CPU hog on my 2.5ghz i7 quad core in Studio One though. About 40% better in REAPER (just for reference in case anyone is considering purchasing). So, unfortunately, I have to pick and choose what tracks I put it on until I upgrade my system.

Yeah it got me once or twice too. It is a little bit ridiculous. Although IK’s Jam Points only allow up to 30% off and it doesn’t include sales items.

In Waves defence though, as soon as you do spend your money and use that voucher, you get another voucher arrive in the mail. Not always useful, but it’s not all bad.

What's kinda funny about this plugin though is that I can't seem to load any other Waves plugins into the strip, even though it says it should be possible.

^ Click on the '+' symbol under the box symbol which is above the words INSERT No Insert.

Was watching a video with schepps and warren huart recently. huart had no idea of the advanced functions available if you click the box at the top of each channel strip processor.

Weird. My whole Waves collection shows up. Are you using a Mac or something? They are stupid computers and should never be used for any serious endeavors.

Yeah, I am on a Mac, purely because at the time I wanted to use Logic.
It's a real shame if I can't this plugin to work, because it is exactly the sort of thing I've been looking for, mainly for its ability to load various effects. I should contact Waves to see if this is a genuine problem.
