I really miss the old synth squad.

I still use it

Synth Squad was updated to 64-bit, and has GUI scaling (requires a re-instantiation), so it's still plenty usable today. I have Strobe 2 and Cypher 2 beta, but I open up Fusor and Amber because they sound good. People are still using physical synths from 40+ years ago, Synth Squad is nowhere near that, and are still contemporary-sounding beasts.

Yeah, they are still great, although the GUI scaling isn't that good - text gets too blurry.

Cypher2 must be fairly close as according to The Devs it is out with sound developers for presets....

Anyone with a beta care to feedback if it has the same MPE facilities as Stribe2
X32 Desk, i9 PC, S88MK3, S1, BWS, Live + PUSH 3, Osmose, RedShift 6 Pro3, Tempera, Syntakt, Digitone II, OP1-F, OPXY, Eurorack, TD27 Drums, Guitars, Basses, Amps and of course lots of pedals!

Where did you see that? If true that's good news...

Not that this is a huge break, but Lawrence said this https://www.fxpansion.com/forum/viewtop ... 7&start=30 on the fxpansion forums on Feb 22, 2018
Nothing to share right now I'm afraid, but a build is currently with the sound designers for preset work :)
........
From there on a previous page on this thread.

I can't imagine Roli releasing it without full MPE support.

Did you hear something about Amber?!?!? I asked Angus about it via e-mail and he said that they weren't sure about it.

Coincidently or not but about a little ago i started to do live streaming music on Youtube and i am using Dcam Synth Squad as my main synth for now.

Do not have Strobe 2, because i do not think there are any significant improvements in it. And also i really do not like so generic GUI it has. I much refor old GUI. :(
And i am not even talking about upgrade price :D

As for now i use pretty basic setup. Nothing complex. Just want to experience that.

Strobe 1 is definitely a perfect little synth. I also like its GUI, there is something very nice about it. However I like the GUI in Strobe2 just as much.

Strobe2 has some very nice wave-shaping options built into the main oscillator and sub-oscillator. This can really alter the sound before you even hit the filters. The Euclidian mode is cool too. Plus the modular effects....a great little package. Although the old Synth Squad Fusor environment gives you a lot of the effects power...

Mine too, always has been. In many ways, Cypher is unique amongst VA soft synths. It's the sum of all its parts....
