I really miss the old synth squad.
I still use it

Yeah, they are still great, although the GUI scaling isn't that good - text gets too blurry.yellowmix wrote:Synth Squad was updated to 64-bit, and has GUI scaling (requires a re-instantiation), so it's still plenty usable today. I have Strobe 2 and Cypher 2 beta, but I open up Fusor and Amber because they sound good. People are still using physical synths from 40+ years ago, Synth Squad is nowhere near that, and are still contemporary-sounding beasts.

Where did you see that? If true that's good news...SLiC wrote:Cypher2 must be fairly close as according to The Devs it is out with sound developers for presets....
From there on a previous page on this thread.thedodle wrote:..............
Not that this is a huge break, but Lawrence said this https://www.fxpansion.com/forum/viewtop ... 7&start=30 on the fxpansion forums on Feb 22, 2018
........Nothing to share right now I'm afraid, but a build is currently with the sound designers for preset work
Did you hear something about Amber?!?!? I asked Angus about it via e-mail and he said that they weren't sure about it.himalaya wrote:soon...there will be everything.thedodle wrote:

Strobe 1 is definitely a perfect little synth. I also like its GUI, there is something very nice about it. However I like the GUI in Strobe2 just as much.chilly7 wrote:

My favorit synth out of DCam is Chyper.himalaya wrote:Strobe 1 is definitely a perfect little synth. I also like its GUI, there is something very nice about it. However I like the GUI in Strobe2 just as much.chilly7 wrote:

Strobe2 has some very nice wave-shaping options built into the main oscillator and sub-oscillator. This can really alter the sound before you even hit the filters. The Euclidian mode is cool too. Plus the modular effects....a great little package. Although the old Synth Squad Fusor environment gives you a lot of the effects power...
