I really wish Uhbik effects were sold separately. I have Uhbik-G in Reason as a rack extension which I purchased separately but now I prefer to work in Bitwig and only need/want that one effect. I know its been mentioned before, but for the sake of curiosity, is there any mention of splitting these out one day? I'd give anything to have this as VST by itself.

For some reason, to my ears, I haven't been able to find another grain based effect that doesn't sound "grainy". I always want to go back to Uhbik-G. Is it just my imagination or is something going on with this plugin that makes it sound much more smooth!? I am curious what makes it sound so much better, if in fact there any merit to that perception

I'd give anything but the money to buy the whole package. I would pay for the individual plugin and give anything else (except money or my body limbs or features) to be able to buy it separately. Just to be 100% clear...spunkmuffin wrote:Anything?!killmaster wrote:I'd give anything to have this as VST by itself.

Ok it's a deal, give me 10 years of your personal labour and I will buy the whole package for you.

Good job, give 'em hell, spunkmuffin!spunkmuffin wrote:Ok it's a deal, give me 10 years of your personal labour and I will buy the whole package for you.
Meanwhile, I'll tilt this conversation more towards me.
I demand Uhbik become more sexy! I want more "Uh" and less "bik", damnit. Whatever's called, figure it out. I'll be standing by.

I can´t really justify buying the whole package just for that one plugin.

Idk if it's acceptable to say here but how about buying it used then, if you feel the price is too high. I have the whole package. (Got it just for the reverb once) uhbik G is one of my most used effects (all though mostly as a utility not as an actual fx). Also Runicter gets alot of use. Just yesterday I learnt a really neat thing with Runicter which makes it sound kinda like the flanger patches in satin. I feel like I still haven't scratched the surface of uhbik.
The official reason for not splitting the pack up is because of the potential for a lot of support requests. I'd rather have u-he stay healthy and cautios than going in to deep water.

Well in approximately six days u-he will release a separate effects plugin, so I guess they are headed for deep waters.
