The point was that that diagram came straight from the Oberheim patent. You have some objection to someone citing the origin and significance of an image you posted?Teksonik wrote:And your point is ? I haven't read every post in the 103 pages.

Look I know you live for arguments. That's fine if it gives you purpose then by all means carry on but to me it sounded like you were butt hurt because you posted it first and somehow didn't get the credit you think you deserved:whyterabbyt wrote:The point was that that diagram came straight from the Oberheim patent. If the image I posted was so significant maybe you should have posted it instead of just a link.whyterabbyt wrote:That diagram is straight from the Oberheim patent I linked to earlier.
Anyway I offered no opinion on the subject I just posted some information for consideration. How that can start an argument is beyond me but I guess some are so desperate for confrontation they look for it in every word.
Ok I'll leave this thread now and leave you to your raison d'être.

A post like that over nothing makes it seem more like you're the one who lives for argument; I merely gave something some context. If it gives you purpose then by all means carry on but to me it sounded like you were butt hurt because you thought I was trying to take credit for something.Teksonik wrote:Look I know you live for arguments. And I just posted some information for consideration. But this post proves, that for no reason at all, you got your nose bent out of shape over that.Anyway I offered no opinion on the subject I just posted some information for consideration.
Well, all I did was give some context for something you posted, and then, when you unnecessarily challenged that, explain that that was all I did. So yes, you've started an argument from that, exactly according to the explanation you offer. How that can start an argument is beyond me but I guess some are so desperate for confrontation they look for it in every word.

So, what did I miss in the last 103 pages?
Question: Am I the only one who owned an Odyssey back in the 80s who wasn't all that impressed with it and couldn't care less if there was or wasn't an emulation of one?
Personally, the 2600 and Omni 2 were much more interesting and characterful.
I will never understand the fascination with this synth. I sold mine in like a year and never looked back.
Now the Wavestation? THAT was an interesting synth and kept it for over 25 years until I went ITB.
Please Korg...make the GUI a decent size.

For those who are interested this is the same initial patch dialled up on the ARP hardware. Both parts from the same keyboard (over midi to hardware) and no fx (just a little compressor on the master). I tried to dial everything on the hardware exactly the same as the software.

That's awesome!! I love how Korg threw in all the expansions and made a truly complete virtual Korg M1. I wish Roland would take notes instead of making each individual expansion it's own plugin. I would love to see a Trinity/Triton like thatdbender wrote:+ 1,000,000!!!Shiek927 wrote:Personally I'm hoping to see the Korg Triton pop up eventually. I love PCM synths and workstations

Yeah, the Trinity's sequencer is still the second best I've ever used and if I ever had to stop using Orion, I'd be seriously tempted to go back to hardware like that, although NI Maschine has kind of scratche3d that itch a bit for me.Shiek927 wrote:Personally I'm hoping to see the Korg Triton pop up eventually. Generally not surprised though. Their KLC MS-20 doesn't sound like the real thing either.
