Anyone here using Touchdaw?

I found out about it, believe it or not, from a guy working at the local Guitar Center. I'm thinking of just buying a cheap used Android Tablet, just for this app.

I have an iPhone, but couldn't find an app which seems to offer similar functionality.

I was thinking of buying a Korg Nanokontrol2, but this LOOKS like it has significantly more features.

Anyone using this or something else with similar functionality (arming tracks, transport control, etc.)

This sounds familiar. I think it was mentioned on here a few years back.
[W10-64, T5/6/7/W8/9/10/11/12/13, 32(to W8)&64 all, Spike],[W7-32, T5/6/7/W8, Gina16] everything underused.

I use touchdaw on android tablet. The thing is: android latency (ipad is better choise for audio, but more expensive), moving faders by finger are not so precise method, some controls and modes not intuitive and it works better on 10 inches screen or larger. After a while I bought Alphatrack fader and happy with it.
Anyway, touchdaw is good for transport controls, plugins parameters indication and it's additional touch controllers.

Also have Korg nanokontrol, but in my opinion it even worse than touchdaw. Cheap, bad drivers, small faders and 1-128 steps fixed rotary knobs without indication - it's useless for mixing. Maybe Behringer x-touch mini would be better.

iOS has some apps, though perhaps not to that level/style. KRFT and TouchOSC come to mind. For the past couple of days, I've been enjoying using Navichord on my iPhone to play chords in some softsynths in Waveform on my PC without any wires (using network midi).

Checked out KRFT - doesn't look like it has transport controls. As for TouchOSC, I can't tell if it needs to use Open Sound Control or if it can just be used for a mackie compatible transport control via midi over wifi.

It's mackie compatible.
