Have you tried importing the Miroslav v1 content into ST3 CS (the free one)? I believe that's supposed to work now, but I haven't tried it as I have the paid version.
Yeah I have ST3, it imports poorly, mod wheel assignments are gone, not so great.
Looking at Philharmonic 2 on youtube, at $104 it's worth it. They added in keyswitches for the older instruments, and new multis etc. So I get a working Choir for about $100 plus extra orchestral patches to use when EW and Kirk Hunter aren't cutting it. Woodwind is so variable in EWSO so another batch is useful, even if it's an older library. I don't really do orchestral more like soundtrack music, so "realism" isn't the thing, it's whether it sounds good to me. :)

Learn to play music for dummies (basically) :D

That’s a nice bundle of books! Hard to say no for the price and that it helps out some worthwhile charities.

Humble is a fantastic company, imo.

So, regarding that FabFilter sale going on right now: do they ever do 40% sales on Pro-Q2?

I keep comparing “budget” alternatives, but it’s hard to find a comparison to the quality of the UI.

Yes, I know they do bundle sales on the holidays, but I’d rather stick to just grabbing Pro-Q2.

KHS Slice EQ and IKM EQual both have GUIs that are on par with Pro-Q2, imo. Not sure if they qualify as budget plugins, but they are cheaper than Pro-Q2.

I have them. The drawing feature on the Carve EQ is interesting. But I think if you look at the price of them combined together compared to Pro-Q2, it gets close enough that it’s kind of a wash, IMO. (Excluding sales, obviously.)

Does DMG Audio ever do sales besides their bundle discounts?

They do intro discounts but that's it - pretty much the same as u-he IIRC. I guess if there's a big anniversary they might do a special.

Thanks for clearing that up.

Was thinking about picking up TrackMeter. Limitless and TrackComp also look impressive, but they’re pretty spendy. Meter, however, seems like a good value at regular price (imo) when you add up all the tools that are included.

Yes :) it's the lowest price I can go and if you calculate 160/6 = +-25€ for one plugin is a steal + you can resell them easily if you don't love them :)

Bought PSP Stomp Filter on sale from JRR. Registered code on PSP site - it appears in my user area - but no activation code. Emailed PSP and
-"Until the 5th March I’m on a meditation retreat. During this time I’m offline and unable to answer any emails and phone calls."

Hope Antoni hasn't been stuck in another astral plain since the beginning of March! Maybe he means May. Hhmm.. put on a sale and then go on holiday.

Are PSP a one man band?

PSP has iLok nowdays. Can´t you activate the plugin by using the code you got and "redeem" it with the iLok Manager?

I'd almost bought this, but then saw the the activation system is quite user unfriendly, as you can not deactivate a license when moving to another computer but have to wait for 90 days to get a new activation.

it has 2 licenses ok, but i have 3 computers and one would switch often, when i'm on the road.
