Hi,
I am new to u-he but got excited after I heard pad sound created by the Diva plugin on YouTube. That was exactly the sound I have been looking for a long time.
However after viewing and listening to other u-he synth plugins which where also sounding great I struggle what product might be right for me.
95% I use soft/mellow/warm/lush synth pads on MainStage layered with my Nordstage 2 piano sound when I play live (thats most of the time).
What u-he product would recommend for that purpose? I actually need only 2-3 really good pad sound, not a library thousands. Also I am a little bit concerned about the CPU hungry Diva during live performance. Any experience with that? Thanks for your comments. Really appreciate.

Hello AW,
First, it'd help if you posted the video and the timestamp of the pad you're interested in. Words are not the best way to describe a sound.
Second, Diva can be CPU hungry, especially for pads. There are changes you can make to reduce the consumption See page 48 of the fine manual for details. I recommend you download the demo and test it out on your system to see if the consumption is an issue or not. The demo only emits small crackles intermittently so it's a good way to try out the sounds in your working setup.
