awesome release!
I'm having however a little issue: loading Satin in the Komplete Kontrol software immediately crashes the latter
(be it from the Browse column or manually).
Is somebody having the same issue?
(I'm on macOS latest version with KK 2.0)
Edit: it is also crashing sometimes in Logic

A crash can happens if for some reason the VST2 version of the plugin wasn't updated during the installation.vanluke wrote:I'm having however a little issue: loading Satin in the Komplete Kontrol software immediately crashes the latter(be it from the Browse column or manually).
This can have two reasons:
You either did not have the VST2 version selected in the installer.
Or the old version of Satin was not installed in the standard installation path.
Maybe have a look at the Komplete Kontrol preferences.
In the plugins section, there is a locations tab, please check in which locations Komplete Kontrol searches for plugins.
If you have more than one location shown there, please check all of them for instances of Satin.vst.
If you find Satin in more than one of those locations, then one location probably still has the previous version of Satin in it, and the other one contains the newly updated version.
The easiest way to fix it would be to delete all the instances of Satin.vst you find in those locations, and then run the installer again, making sure to have the VST2 version selected in the installer.

Thank you!! I tried before to reinstall it again but it didn't work. However, after uninstalling and reinstalling, Satin is behaving properlytasmaniandevil wrote: A crash can happens if for some reason the VST2 version of the plugin wasn't updated during the installation.

The NKS integration and tags-browser is extremely cool!!!

Ohh no. It is working fine now in KK but it keeps crashing in Logic X. I load it, works fine, then I open the already loaded instance and boom, crash
Edit: I tested downgrading to 1.3 again. Works fine. Then I install 1.3.1. Instances of Satin that were created with the former version work fine. Strange. I noticed that the problem occurs only when using the new Tags Browser, that is, when the preset was selected inside the Tags-Browser.
(Also: open an instance of Satin (in Logic or KK) --> search preset using the Tag-Browser --> close window (instance) --> open window again --> crash)

Thanks for your report. I just tried it and can confirm that there is an issue when you reopen the GUI after selecting a preset and a tag in the tag view. We will be looking into this issue next week.vanluke wrote:Ohh no. It is working fine now in KK but it keeps crashing in Logic X.
