Suggestions for creating "octave inversion"?

Hi - I am reading this article about processing audio by inverting the frequency range of each octave -- https://griffonagedotcom.wordpress.com/ ... inversion/ -- and wondering if anyone had suggestions on how to experiment with this. Melda plugins seem best suited for this stuff.

I started with Mtransformer, drawing a transformation graph that looks a rising reverse sawtooth to invert ranges from 20-40hz / 40-80 / etc. but not really getting what i expected.

No idea I'm afraid. MTransformer should be the one to use, but I'm even sure if the whole thing shouldn't be fully flipped, hence just one "saw". On the page there are some "split" points mentioned, like 53kHz etc., which is all quite weird really.

What an interesting idea, hehe. Didn't you just have to invert the transform shape in MTransformer for that effect?
