Same limitations as with any other Kontakt Player library, dzilizzi. I don’t mind, as I prefer ease of use to get the creative juices flowing.

Then I probably won't bother. I have a few others that do similar things with the same limitation. And I really never use them. If it were under $100, I might think about it.

Thanks!

It was worth doing the Spitfire Audio "wish list" thing then - just got a 40% discount code offer for Phobos.

I have that on my list, too. There was a thread not that long ago about plugin purchases people regretted and Phobos came up a lot. Does not seem to be an instrument people like once they have it. A bit like Hexeract. Any opinions?

Yeah, I saw a few regret posts too, which is holding me back from pulling the trigger straight away. At least we get a few days to decide.

No-brainer. Love my harps. Those voices are a sweet extra.

Got the Spitfire Spring Wish List offers as well, thought about Phobos but as others have pointed out seems to be a few disappointed users out there.

Are the offers personalized or all the discounts the same for everyone? Only found out about the offer yesterday and should have added more to my wish list.

The offers I got were

SCANDI 15%
HYBRID 15%
OLAFUR 15%
ALBION ONE 30%
HANS ZIMMER PERCUSSION 30%
BT PHOBOS 40%
OLAFUR ARNALDS COMPOSER TOOLKIT 30%
ORCHESTRAL SWARM 30%

Anyone get an offer for Harp Swarm?

I cannot decide on Phobos either. Does anyone know if any of the early complaints were addressed as was rumored to happen?

Mine are:

Spitfire Symphonic Woodwinds
Discount: 30.00%

Bernard Herrmann Composer Toolkit
Discount: 40.00%

Albion V Tundra
Discount: 40.00%

Spitfire Solo Strings
Discount: 30.00%

As we see, e.g. Tundra has been lately on sale, and has bigger discount (although not near the earlier offer, of course). Solo string are rather lucrative.

I somehow didn't get Swarm in my wishlist. I thought I put it in there. Oh well.

Albion One - 30%
Alternative Solo Strings - 25%
Symphonic Strings EVO - 40%
Orchestral Piano - 30%

I'm trying to decide whether I really need Albion One now. I can get a student discount in September which is 30%.

I sensed that the crusade against Hexeract was led by a very few people on this forum only, and mostly based on the 1.00 release. I think it's an ingenious idea developed by a well-respected company and money well spent. I use it all the time. But that's just me.

I had problems with the wish list as well, had to login and refresh the page and then make sure I could see that button said that it was on my wish list.

Might be worth contacting them to see if they could issue you a code as you thought you did have it on the wish list.

seems there was an update in july 2017 - which was after the "regret" posts:

I actually thought about that, but it seems it is also at 30%, so I could potentially wait until September to get it.

I'm really disappointed that I didn't see the Solo Strings (old version) when I was looking for things to put on my wishlist. Someone got them for around $90. That would have been worth it I think.

My biggest problem with the Albions is that is it an ensemble and well, I have a lot of ensembles. So I keep going back and forth on it. I like ensembles, but I think solo instruments/sections are more usable. And they don't have midrange woodwinds in Albion One. Well, I have a week to think about it.
