Infected Mushroom has been huge influencer here. I got first introduced to Infected Mushroom by my brother about sixteen years ago, when my brother brought Infected CD to my car. That CD never left the CD player before I got some new Infected Mushroom to my hands.

Going along with the "Spring Theme" above here's another upbeat, bright piece. Perhaps somewhat proggish, in the joyful sense. Based on acoustic guitar, driven by acoustic bass guitar and drums/percussions, with synth colorings. No angst in there and not made for any commercial market. Created in Bitwig, mixed and mastered in Mixbus32C.

Hello Bitwig people

Really enjoyed the whole process of this. It was a bit of a breakthrough in terms of overcoming self-doubt.
It's called "Need" in the sense that I needed to make music again beyond that obsessive 4 bar loop madness.
Coming back to this process I was in awe of the flexibility. The time between thinking of something and getting it done has really come down. It's really impressive what we have right now.
