All MeldaProduction plugins updated to 12.00 and MSpectralDelay released

Hi folks,

next update is here . 12.00 is an important update and comes with several new features, optimizations, fixes and overall improvements. It is recommended to install this update. To do that, get the newest version from MeldaProduction download page and use it.

Additionally MSpectralDelay, a unique spectral creative delay plugin, has been released. For the next 2 weeks MSpectralDelay will be free for everyone - just log into your account and grab the licence. Afterwards it will be free for MCompleteBundle, MTotalFXBundle and MCreativeFXBundle users. It has been added to MXXX as well.

Please check the release notes for V12 to avoid backwards compatibility issues.

Hi Vojtech,

just downloaded the upgrade and tried to install it, but my GData Anti-Virus blocks it, as it thinks it detects a virus (Gen:Variant.Graftor.486452). I assume it is a false positive, but it keeps me from installing the upgrade, because it is not possible to deactivate this AV-program or allow the installation anyway (not as far as I know).

Anyone else getting similar messages from other AV-programs?

Hi Max,

ugh... I hate AVs, they try to persuade users they are needed by reporting everything they don't understand... So sad. Anyways it certainly is a false positive, I just made sure using online AV, which tests with all major AVs (and there's many of them ). If it cannot be disabled, I'm afraid all I can recommend is removing it entirely. It doesn't seem to do you any good anyways.

Do we need to redownload the MDrummer packs as part of the update? Is there any new content?

Well, you do not NEED to, but it is highly recommended to do so. More info:

There's quite some new electronic drum content, acoustic content is being processed as we speak and will be available in additional packs.

Oh yeah and then later on it asks you if you want to run cleanup then tells you you have no Melda plugins (because you just uninstalled them )

It also forgets all the ones you had previously after uninstalling them.

Yeah, well, try managing major updates for over 100 plugins . It could be better indeed though... Anyways for major updates it just usually doesn't remember. But hey, it's free! C'mon!

...slightly off this direct topic...but "It also forgets all the ones you had previously after uninstalling them." is accurate...I had to do a "clean up" awhile back, for reasons completely unrelated, and then had to manually reselect and install. Maybe the installer could "look up" the current licenses and pre-select those...hth.../s~

Cleanup really shouldn't cause that . I'll check though. Hopefully this is a rare situation.

I upgraded from V11 to V12.
MFreeFXBundle, MMixingFXBundle, MXXXcore and MSpectralDelay, everything is activated but MXXX marks MSpectralDelay red and uses the Demo.

Is this a bug?

Update:
Sorry, i doublechecked and saw, i didn't activate "MSpectralDelay" on my second DAW-PC.
Now, i activated "MSpectralDelay" and it works perfectly!

The check boxes for VST2 and VST3 were not checked...

They were checked by default.

drummaman: You always need to update all of the plugins. The uninstaller of V11 make sure there won't be plugins left. I'd recommend installing V12 again, make sure all the VST/VST3... interfaces are enabled (which is default), perform plugin cleanup, just in case, then select the plugins you want to install. Make sure the plugin paths are correct (only VST2, all other interface have predefined paths by standard, I wish the same was for the poor old VST2... )
