First, thank you Tracktion for the great updates to Waveform and for making Biotek 2 available for download!! Biotek is a fantastic sounding synth. Really looking forward to programming it.
I do have a problem as described in the subject, I just updated Waveform to 9.2.1 and installed Biotek 2 alongside version 1.6.5. 1.6.5 loads just fine...Biotek 2 crashes Waveform when assigning to a track. I've unstalled and reinstalled B2 with the same results. Any help you can provide is appreciated.
Windows 7 64
Regards.....

When i installed Biotek V2 without it's content, it would crash every DAW(including Waveform 9 latest version) in which i opened Biotek V2.
Then i installed it's content.
After that, no more crashes when opening Biotek V2 in a DAW.
OSX 10.13.4.

Thanks for the heads up.
2.0.7 solves nothing here. Biotek2 is still not seen by Bitwig nor Mixbus32C. In fact, the .so binary contained in the 2.0.7 archive is the exact same size as the previous one:
16592672 May 20 15:23 BioTek 2.so
Not easy to believe there was any change at all regarding this version.
However, the Windows one now can start and show up a UI, somewhat, and makes the noise sound. I hesitate to unlock that Windows version in fear that it will mess up much further the tracktion account, as trying out the demo after paying yesterday for the upgrade did. And prevent any use of the Linxu version, which for the time being does not run at all.

I just double-checked it here. V2.0.7 has the size and date you report and it works without problems in Waveform. I didn't check it in Bitwig Studio, though.
Best wishes,

I do not use Waveform. I use Bitwig Studio with Biotek. That's pretty clear. I use Bitwig in order to use Biotek. Biotek 1 that is. As well as Waverazor, that I beta-tested for the new editor.Wolfram Franke wrote: I just double-checked it here. V2.0.7 has the size and date you report and it works without problems in Waveform. I use Bitwig for creation. I also use Mixbus32C for mixing and mastering. So let's see what Harrison Mixbus32C see about the current Biotek2:
The listing ends at Biotek, Biotek 1. Biotek2 is not seen either by Mixbus32C.
And no, the 'Tracktion Software Corporation' in the list below does not contain Biotek2, it only contains Master Mix.

I'm having the same problem with the latest version of BioTek 2 (and also with Collective) on Ubuntu Linux 18.04:
viewtopic.php?f=22&t=510292
The plugins crash in all DAWs (REAPER, Waveform, BitWig, Ardour/Mixbus 32c).

BTW, what's that talk about "installing the content"? There is no such download available. No content to install.

Hi there,
I have uploaded Collective V1.2.0 as a new beta version that shouldn't crash on Ubuntu 18.04 anymore. Please give it a try and let me know if it works:
https://marketplace.tracktion.com/shop/ ... collective
Regarding your "installing the content" question. You can find the Collective content there, too.
BioTek 2 will follow soon.
Best wishes,
Wolfram
