Now I don´t want to seem extra-stingy as the first new chipsynth has a fine price tag, but wasn´t there talk about "discounts on the individual chipsynths for chipsounds owners"?

Nice demo! Great combination of explaning and simultaneously demonstrating what you are talking about.
I wasn't very interested in this at first but now I am intrigued. Some very cool sounds.

Is this a full created synthchip from the master system? When i google it it seems to be the one used in there.

That was the idea until we decided to lower the price ridiculously, even lower than the price you were suppose to get it with that discount. Sorry about that.

The redesigned Japanese Master System III (the one that looks just like the rest-of-the-world sms) had in fact that same chip we emulated inside. This didn't make the US release. You can play the FM part of those games in PortaFM using the VGM playback feature.

Demos sound surprisingly great, def more mojo than your typical 2 operator FM emulation.

You don't want to know what I think about digital synth romplers

PortaFM's installer is 5MB ... its all integer maths and bit twiddling.
