808 slide/glide

Hi guys, I wonder if I can make a 808 slide on Tracktion. I searched and I couldn't find any tutorial or topic for that.

If you're trying to do this

I don't think there is a "slide" or "glide" note function in Waveform, but you can kinda get there with portamento. In Collective you need to:
load your own 808 kick sample or try the preset Sine Sub Bass JH just to see if this comes close.
under OSC1-2 turn on the Glide section
adjust Glide Rate, toggle Portamento/Glisando and Legato on/off(seems to delete slide effect) to get the sound you want
Also under OSC1-2 you can set the amplitude envelope up (Env 1 I think) the way he describes in the video.

Thanks for the explanation. It's sad that Tracktion doesn't offer that function =/.
