So, I've got a Plugin-Alliance $50 voucher that's about to expire and I already own almost everything they have that is on sale. So the few items I want aren't on sale.

I gave away two PA codes and two Slate codes already to the community for free, so at this point I'm curious if my goodwill earns me any offers for trade on this coupon?

I'd be interested in a trade for Elysia museq, mpressor, or alpha compressor, bx_refinement or a Mok Waverazor code if anyone has one they'd like to trade. Or let me know what you've got that you don't want and I'll let you know if I already have it.

Thanks guys.

Sweet deal.
Isn't this basically a brand new product? I recall they were doing a discounted pre-release sale over the holidays. Seems strange that it would get so discounted so quickly. The SLR review makes it look like fun. Maybe not $240 of fun, but definitely $24 of fun.

It does seem strange to me that the price of new software would decrease so rapidly. Any reason not to bite on this?

It looks like it's 50% off the intro price they offered. I'm guessing that a lot of people figured they could probably get the same results, in a less cramped interface, using what they already have. Others may disagree but I doubt I'd even get £17 worth of use out of this.

Does anybody know if 2c Audio do Kalaidescope sales?

Yes. The last one I've got an email for was 30% off around Christmas 2017.

Oh wow that’s a long time away.

I might email them. I already have the Perfect Storm 2.0 bundle so this would be to complete the 2c package.

They were great when I wanted to upgrade from PS1 to 2.

Andrew has often said they want people to be on the bundle so you might be in luck.

Anyone versed in NI stuff help me out here? Does this offer from NI mean that I get Maschine Mikro and Komplete 11 Standard (not Select) for $498? Just wondering since Komplete Standard is usually $599 on its own.

It certainly looks like it. "PRODUCT INCLUDES: One MASCHINE production system plus one KOMPLETE 11 upgrade – download version...KOMPLETE 11 upgrade includes installation files, PDF manuals of all 45 products"

The way it works is that the Mikro comes with Komplete Select anyway. As part of the offer they give you a free upgrade to Komplete Standard.

Thanks. Looks like it's basically $200 off the normal $400 upgrade from Select to Standard since other controller bundles are on sale, like Maschine 3 for $798 with Standard (instead of the $998 it would usually cost otherwise with the upgrade).

I like the idea of this, but the sounds are way to electronic for me. Great deal if you like electronic music.

Sample Library review (linked on the VSTBuzz page) does a great run through of the sounds.

The problem with Hypernode looking at the videos is that it's neither fish nor fowl. It's too electronic for media composers and nowhere near current enough for dance producers. He should probably find a way of using the scripting he's built up to team up with people making genre-specific construction kits and just licence to them, potentially as Kontakt Player libraries, similar to NI's own Maschine libraries. There you can make a virtue of the more difficult editing inside the Kontakt interface which, when it comes to arrangement, is like keyhole surgery.

I wonder if Kontakt 6 will have true UI scaling? If so, I guess we'd see which devs actually support their old libraries or just abandon them altogether.

Komplete upgrades and Komplete Instruments are 50% off.

How wise would it be to get K11 now? There are rumours that K12 is due anytime.
