I've had Tracktion on my computers since T1 and have upgraded each time all the way to W9.2.1.
When I last upgraded, on a limited Social Security income, I chose Basic.
Now I'm considering DAW Essentials as I like what I see using them in demo mode.
The collection only is $159.
The upgrade+pack is $109. Is this the way?
Or is there something I'm overlooking?
Plus, I have W on a desktop and a laptop. Is the Collection use-able on both machines?
Least expensive way to get DAW Essentials?

I will give you my license for Tracktion DAW Essentials Collection if Tracktion will allow the transfer. I'll give you Master Mix and Micro Synths too. Being on a fixed income sucks, especially in the United States. I dread getting there.

Master Mix came with my Waveform and I don't know much about Synths, so those aren't something I need.
I come to this board often for info but don't post much.
Maybe one of the admins will see your offer and approve a transfer.
Are you dis-satisfied with the collection?

PM me the email address you use at Tracktion you want the license transferred to. I'll send a support request to Tracktion. I don't see any official policy regarding license transfers so we'll see how this goes.
I was and am still happy with the collection, but it is redundant within my toolset.
If Tracktion devs are looking, my only complaint is that the Tape Delay goes down to 60ms. If it could go down much lower, it could also be used as a tape chorus. Seems like an arbitrary limit, given the other delays go down to 0ms. If the GUI can't support it, at least let it be typed in.

On Saturday, my three piece band un-expectantly played a paying gig at the local Harley Davidson store. My cut of the pay is enough to purchase the Essentials using the Memorial Day 25% off offer.
The "Waveform 9+Pack"s list price of $109, (which includes Essentials) becomes a more affordable $81.
Getting W's upgrade is redundant as I have the latest already, but this choice comes with Essentials.
No telling when they may have a discount like this again, and the sale ends at midnight here on the west coast.
If we wait to hear from the devs about a license transfer that may, or maybe not gonna happen, I'd miss out.
So I'm going to purchase a license and unlock the demos that I have.

OK, Tracktion has not yet replied to my service request. Glad you are able to get it, and I agree, with the time-limited sale it's a good move.

Metrognome, let us know how you get on with Essentials. Congrats on your unexpected gig. Wouldn't mind seeing a clip of your band.
