How wise would it be to get K11 now? There are rumours that K12 is due anytime.
Based on the past, I'm 100% sure there will be K12 anytime soon after the sale. I already bought the upgrade to Komplete Ultimate 11 at 50% off a couple of months after it was out.

Now is the second time it's on sale, usually just before the release of the next version.

Bring on that SD3 upgrade sale! :phones:
I already got the SD3 upgrade when it was released. If they do an upgrade sale, jump on it, it's awesome. I don't see any other drum library topping it anytime soon.

That's the plan. :)

In all likelihood, I'm probably still going to pick it up this summer even if it doesn't go on sale. I'm working on selling off a few things right now to make room, and I have some loyalty cash in my PB account to help out.

I have most of the SD2 expansions right now, but I have this weird feeling that the included library is so good that I might end up chucking most of them once I realize they aren't necessary. (OK maybe everything except Progressive Foundry). :D I've watched a LOT of YT vids of demos and reviews with the default library and it's just excellent. But we'll see. :)

It'll be nice to finally kiss the skeuomorphism of SD2 goodbye. I was hoping for a simple UI update for SD3 and they went ahead and just destroyed their competition.

WUT THA... https://www.magix.com/index.php?id=2473 ... f8f4c294c3 ! Samplitude Pro X SUITE + Sound Forge and Spectral Layers for 150$ !!! You'll never see that again in your lifetime.

So I got myself a Maschine MK3 for Christmas, and I already owned Kontakt 5. Thought, might as well grab Komplete when it goes on sale this Summer, since everything integrates so nicely with Maschine.

I can upgrade to Komplete for $199. I can upgrade to Ultimate from there for another $199. But if I want to go from where I am (K5, Elements 11) all the way to Ultimate at once it's $499. Why the extra hundy, Native Instruments? Why the extra step? Am I missing something?
If every KVR member wrote one review a year we'd have 1340 reviews each day!

Also need to keep an eye on https://www.humblebundle.com

As a result of changes to Australian GST law, on 1 July 2018 Amazon’s international shopping options for Australian customers will change.

While we regret any inconvenience this may cause, from 1 July we will be redirecting Australian customers from our international Amazon sites to amazon.com.au

So with this forced GST for us Aussies when ordering overseas, I predict more & more shoppers on the darknet using crypto.
I'll just buy used goods and for software, second-hand licenses. Taxation is theft. :tu:

Dasheesh, that'd be really good if is not for the already phased-out versions of Soundforge and Spectralayers. Soundforge 11 being the worst, since it isn't even 64- bit able, which leaves out most usable plugins plus its non ability to handle more than 3,5 GB RAM.

In order to get both of them able to receive fixes and updates you'll have to pay other $150 each, so in fairness the lot will cost you near to $500 in total, and that gets you up to 2018 date, but most surely, this state will only last for a year lapse, be prepared to pay same number each year, according to Magix yearly update policy in effect...

It sounds like you're getting a non-standard upgrade discount thanks to owning both Select and Kontakt. The Upgrade to Komplete 11 and then to Komplete 11 Ultimate ends up being $499 for most people.

Sorry, no, Heavyocity limited their distribution a couple of months ago and we're no longer carrying them.

I've got an unopened box of Heavyocity Damage, if anyone wants to make an offer. I purchased it directly from NI. Since it's a huge box, probably only oz buyers.
Was saving it for that day that I get scoring work. But I have so many drum sample libs right now, I don't really need it, or I'll probably upgrade to Ultimate eventually which contains Damage. Still on Komplete 8.

With this Web Design & Development Bundle you could build the next Spotify. https://www.humblebundle.com/books/web- ... le_index_2

I know a bit of html/mysql/php/apache but don't know anything about Java/Javascript which of these books would be useful for me if I wanted to best the likes of Spotify and SoundCloud. How hard can it be?
